This park has one campground with small, shady, intimate forested sites in a mixed forest of fir and lodgepole pine. The campground has 33 vehicle accessible sites, 2 of these are doubles and 2 have tent pads. To accommodate larger recreational vehicles there are 6 pull-through sites. Limited parking is available for extra vehicles. Please self register upon arrival at the campground. Check-out time is 11 a.m. If you are re-registering, please do so before then. Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. and are strictly enforced. Reservations are not accepted at this park, all campsites are on a first-come, first-served basis.Vehicle Accessible Camping Fee: $15.00 per party / night Senior's Rate (during Shoulder Season only) : $7.50 per senior's couple / night Camping Party Definitions are available here. The shoulder season runs from park opening date to June 14th and after Labour Day to park closing date. |
Parking is permitted only in designated lots and on the gravel portion of campsites. Parking is not permitted on roadsides. |
There are no day-use or picnicing facilities within the park. |
Within the park, there are no opportunities for swimming. However, just outside
of the park on the shores of Slocan Lake in the hamlet of Rosebery, one can find excellent swimming off of smooth gray/black gravelly beaches. |
Fishing is not permitted within the park along the shores of Wilson Creek. The community park in Rosebery, a short 10 minute walk from the campground, has excellent fishing opportunities in Slocan Lake. A valid BC Fishing License is required.

During the Fall, you can see kokanee salmon spawning in McDonald Creek. |
There are no formal trails within the park. |
Bicycles are permitted on all park trails and roadways. |
All pets must be kept on a leash while in the park. PETS ARE NOT PERMITTED IN THE DAY USE, PLAYGROUND OR BEACH AREAS. |

Help BC Parks protect the environment by reducing firewood consumption. Please respect voluntary burning hours of 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.; use mid-day fires only for cooking; for safety's sake, keep campfires small and extinguish them when no one is around. The Park Facility Operator sells firewood. You may also bring your own. It is an offense to use vegetation dead or alive to start or maintain a fire. |
