Arrow lakes Provincial Park (Shelter Bay Site) is located along the shores of Upper Arrow Lake Reservoir adjacent to the Shelter Bay ferry terminal on Highway # 23, 50 km south of Revelstoke. The park is a popular destination for fishers and boaters. The campsites within the park have spectacular views of the lake and the surrounding towering mountains. The park has a cement boat launch and swimming beach. The park is open from May 1 to September 30. This lakeside campground has 17 sites each with a fire ring and picnic table. Arrow Lakes Park makes a great staging area for other recreational explorations. Mount Revelstoke and Glacier National Parks both close by, offer hiking trails for all skill levels. Travel south, take a ferry ride and discover both Halcyon and Nakusp Hot Springs. The variety of opportunities both in and around this park beckons recreationists of all ages.
