Park Facilities & Activities

vehicle accessible, drive-in campsitesThe campground has 17 designated  sites with an additional 6 overflow sites. A cold water tap is located at the campground entrance. The tap is shut off during the off-season. Please self register upon entry into the campground at the Information Board. Please self register upon arrival at the campground. Check-out time is 11 a.m. If you are re-registering, please do so before then. Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. and are strictly enforced. Reservations are not accepted at this park, all campsites are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Vehicle Accessible Camping Fee: $10.00 per party / night
Senior's Rate (during Shoulder Season only) : $5.00 per senior's couple / night

The shoulder season runs from park opening date to June 14th and after Labour Day to park closing date.
 

Parking is permitted only in designated lots and on the paved portion of campsites. Parking is not permitted on roadsides.
 
picnic, day-use facilities, no campingThere are no day-use or picnicking facilities within the park.
 
power boats, boat launchThe park has a concrete boat launch with a breakwater and has a large, gravel vehicle/boat trailer parking area. Boat trailers can be parked overnight in this lot. Overnight, boats are sometimes left in the water in a partially sheltered lagoon due to high water in July and August.
 
swimming, lifeguardsThe park has a picturesque swimming beach along the shores of Upper Arrow Lake. The water temperature is cool and refreshing.

fishingThe park offers excellent opportunities for fishing bull and rainbow trout, dolly varden and kokanee salmon either from the shore or from a boat. A valid BC Fishing License is required. Check the BC Fishing Regulations Synopsis for quotas and restrictions.
 
walking, hiking trailsThere are no hiking opportunities in the park. Numerous hiking trails can be found in the surrounding area.
 
cycling, mountain biking, bicyclingBicycles are permitted on all park trails and roadways.
 
pets, domestic animals in parksAll pets must be kept on a leash while in the park. PETS ARE NOT PERMITTED ON THE BEACH AREAS.

Help BC Parks protect the environment by reducing firewood consumption. Please respect voluntary burning hours of 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.; use mid-day fires only for cooking; for safety's sake, keep campfires small and extinguish them when no one is around. The Park Facility Operator sells firewood. You may also bring your own. It is an offence to use vegetation dead or alive to start or maintain a fire. Small trees and shrubs are easily damaged. Do not use them for wiener sticks or tarp/clothesline supports.
