Castlegar/Trail/Rossland area has something to offer for everyone. Fishing, boating, hiking, biking, swimming, camping, bird watching, golfing, great historical museums, picnic areas, water sports, horseback riding wildlife tours and much much more!

The Castlegar/Trail/Rossland area offers great museums and historical sites covering the rich history of the area.
 

Looking for something to do on a rainy day? Visit the BC Hydro Hugh Keenleyside dam. Or perhaps the Falls Creek Fiber Alpaca Farm Tour may interest you? The Kootenay Gallery of Art, History and Science is open to the public. Take a tour of the largest non ferrous lead and zinc smelter in the world
 

There is a lot to do on the lakes and rivers near Castlegar/Trail/Rossland including fishing, sightseeing, canoeing and kayaking
There are lots of great hiking and biking opportunities in the Castlegar/Trail/Rossland area. Click brochures and guides to download hiking and trail brochures, including Mel De Anna Trail, Merry Creek Trail, Waldie Island Trail, Yellow Pine Trail, Biking in Castlegar and Cycling the Columbia and Western Railways.
If hiking is not your thing, the Castlegar/Trail/Rossland area offers other modes of transportation in the backcountry wilderness. Sightseeing flights are available through High Alpine Air Services. Adrenaline Adventures offers guided biking, hiking, horseback, and scenic flights. Rossland offers superb mountain biking with trail maps available online.
 

 
Castlegar has a beautiful golf course available to the public. Visit the Castlegar Golf Club website.
The Rossland -Trail Country Club operates two separate courses. The Rossland Course and the Birchbank Course.
Not far from the main access road to the Champion Lakes Provincial Park is the Champion Lakes Golf and Country Club.
