Revelstoke has something to offer to everyone. Great historical museums, golf course, hiking, biking, climbing, scenic National Parks, water sports, fishing, horseback riding, hotsprings and much much more!

The city of Revelstoke offers 4 great museums with a variety of historical topics covered.

There is a lot to do on the lakes and rivers near Revelstoke including fishing, kayaking and whitewater rafting.

Travelling with kids? Some of the great facilities geared toward children include the Enchanted Forest, Beardale Castle Miniatureland and 3 Valley Gap Heritage Ghost Town.

Revelstoke is situated near two mountain National Parks, Mount Revelstoke and Glacier.

Both these parks offer scenic hiking, backcountry mountaineering and fishing. The flower meadows in Mount Revelstoke National Park are a must see in the summer months. Many great day hikes are available in both the National Parks and there is lots of opportunity for great mountain photos.

The National Parks are not the only areas that offer great hiking, biking and climbing in Revelstoke. The Information Center and the Revelstoke BC Forest Service office carry hiking and biking trail pamphlets, which are available to the public. Heli-hiking opportunities also exist in the Revelstoke Area. CMH Heli Hiking, Heli Canada Adventures and Selkirk Mountain Experience.

If hiking is not your thing you can get a birds eye view of the mountains with Glacier Helicopters, Kokanee Helicopters or Selkirk Mountain Helicopters.

ATV tours are available at the Glacier House Resort and Halcyon Hotsprings.

After a hard day of hiking, take the time to enjoy one of 3 hotsprings nearby.

Revelstoke has a beautiful 18-hole golf course available to the public, the Revelstoke Golf Club.

Looking for something to do on a rainy day? Visit the Revelstoke Dam and generating station for a free tour.

The City of Revelstoke has a community center, library, swimming pool and many city parks that offer, playground facilities, tennis courts, soccer and ball fields, skateboard park and running track.
