Kaslo/Nelson area has something to offer for everyone. Fishing, boating, hiking, swimming, camping, golfing, great historical museums, scenic backcountry Provincial Parks, sandy beaches, picnic areas, water sports, mountain biking, hotsprings and much much more!

The Kaslo/Nelson area offers great museums, historical sites, art galleries and theatres.
 


 

There is a lot to do on the lakes and rivers near Kaslo and Nelson including fishing, kayaking, canoeing, boating and House boating.
There are lots of great hiking opportunities in the Kaslo/Nelson area. Try one of these great hikes out. Mt. Buchann, Easter lily, Meadow Mountain, and the K & S trail. Cody Caves Provincial Park is also located nearby for those interested in caving.

If hiking is not your thing, the Kaslo/Nelson area offers other modes of transportation in the backcountry wilderness. Go Wild Tours offers Mountain Biking trips. Wright Wheels also offers biking tours in the Nelson area.

After a hard day of hiking or biking, take the time to enjoy the hot springs nearby. Check out the unique hotsprings cave at Ainsworth Hotsprings.
 

Kaslo has a beautiful golf course situated on Kootenay Lake. Visit the Kaslo Golf Club website for more information.

The Nelson area offers 4 great Golf Courses – Balfour Golf Course Granite Pointe  and Kokanee Springs.  Information on Eagle View Golf Course and other smaller courses in the area can be found here

The cities of Kaslo and Nelson offer arena sports complexes, public Libraries, museums, tennis courts, swimming pools, playgrounds, beaches, lawn bowling and picnic sites.
